♥ CWS Styling Theme "Color Blocking" by Becky Kénaan ♥

"Color Blocking" is one of the latest and very fun fashion trends that takes bold opposites on the color wheel and puts them together for the widest contrast possible.  

The only other extreme color block combination is black/white. 

In other words, primary colors on the color wheel are red, blue and yellow; secondary colors are purple (a mixture of blue/red), green (yellow/blue), and orange (red/yellow).  

The optimal color block scheme would be to take a red, mix it with a green, and add a third color (such as a blue).  

For my outfit, I chose a casual chic look and I selected the optimal secondary color contrasting blocks and went with the colors of Lime Green for my pants, and boldly contrasted them with a wild Fuchsia Red Tunic. Fuchsia is a vivid purplish shade of red, named after the flower of the fuchsia plant.

I introduced just a touch of Blue Mint Candy for my nails to complement my Pearl & Blue Mint Clutch.
