Selene Creations French Flower Babydoll Dress - Showing Off Your Assets On a Windy Day

Why cover up your assets?  Show them off with style & class adorning this Selene Creations Babydoll Dress.

This Selene Creations French Flower Babydoll Dress is
definitely in the fashion spotlight here in Second Life.

If you want to look stunning wearing this Baby Doll Dress,
I have some advice on how to best accessorize it
to complement its striking appearance.

The babydoll was made popular by the 1956 movie "Baby Doll"
which starred Carroll Baker. She played the role of a sensuous 19-year-old virgin.

The style of nightgown she wore in this movie was an immediate hit.
"Babydoll" lingerie became the popular addition behind closed doors.

The babydoll short dress evolved afterwards.  It was a dress which
could be worn during the day. Its popularity grew among the younger
generation because its style reflected both youthfulness and innocence.

Its appearance is both feminine and flirtatious at once.

I absolutely love how it graces my curves (and, how it
certainly pronounces my legs).

This shorter style of baby doll dress can make you look incredibly
sexy or terribly absurd. So, if you have ample bosoms and a slender frame,
then this dress style will make you look both sweet & sexy. On the other hand,
if you have heavy thighs, its best for you to opt for a longer length hem.

Selecting the right undergarments for this Babydoll Dress
makes a huge difference to your overall look.

Should you elect to wear this babydoll dress with heels, choose light
colored sheer stockings or pantyhose to enhance your legs.

Highlighting these assets will certainly augment your figure.

If you intend to wear this babydoll dress to the beach, then opt for
flip flops with a little heel or wedge for a bit of glamour.

Babydoll dresses are flowy, and they will "show off" on a windy day.

Ladies...Check out this chic Sun Moon Choker by Stone's Works.

However, remember Becky da' Boops cardinal rule:

Never wear one during a windy day or dancing the salsa, LOL
(unless you want to reveal your [cough] little secrets on every spin)!

(I couldn't resist growing my boobs for this shot)

If you are petite, you might look at the black or
white solid color babydolls that Selene offers.

Personally, I believe that this floral looks its best on taller girls.

Wearing this Selene Creations French Babydoll with high heels,
elegant hosiery and the proper makeup will create an absolutely stunning look!

Swank Events August '17 Premiers Selene Creations Soir d'ete Noir Lingerie - It’s Time to Embrace & Empower Your Womanhood.

First, I would like to address the men out there that have girlfriends here in SL.

Are you contemplating what to get her as a gift?

Well, it is very common that many romantic couples give and receive lingerie.
It makes a wonderful gift.  Women also deserve sexy lingerie too!

So if you want to make a lasting impression with a return on your investment
then I recommend that you choose wisely and get her this

Selene Creations Soir d'ete Noir Lingerie Outfit.

I love this Selene Creations Soir d'ete Noir lingerie set. It possesses me.

I paired its sexy laced bra and skirt with a laced garter, panties and sheer stockings
applier from Big Beautiful Doll in “Poison Black.”

The 3 main reasons why all you ladies out there in SL should rock in these sexy knickers:

1) Wearing these sexy knickers will make you feel sexy.

Feeling sexy also improves your self-confidence.  Having improved self-confidence
also translates to better success in all aspects of your life.

I actually often wear lingerie as my undergarment in RL at work beneath my
business suit - complete with garter belt, lacy bra and panties.

Wearing sexy lingerie is an easy & inconspicuous way of exuding confidence.
People just know when you’re confident.

There is also something about wearing naughty lingerie. You can catch a guy’s
attention quicker than you can say “Granny's Panties.”

2) Sexy lingerie puts you back in touch with your sensuality.

Lingerie is never about him. It’s always about you.

Your alluring scent, sight and touch…These are all of the essential signals
and prompts which define you as an innately sensual being with erotic passions.

I don’t advertise this fact in Second Life, but I’ve been
single for most of the time here since I’ve had my blog.

Most of the sexy lingerie I model and review has never
been seen by others here on an intimate level.

If it works aesthetically as an applier with the rest of my mesh outfits,
I will wear it as an undergarment while modeling and writing blogs.

I find that it is easy to falter into feeling somewhat asexual when I am not in a relationship.
So, wearing sexy lingerie is my way of keeping those embers of mine warm.

3) You never know when romance is near.

Today might be just that day… not for the love of your life, necessarily, but maybe
for that special romp between the sheets that can take your breath away.

Think about it...Do you really want to be wearing drab undies when that occurs?
Whatever mesh clothing or appliers that you’re wearing underneath
should be at least as sexy as the one's you're wearing on top.

Do the naughty with sexy sophistication and style with this
Selene Creations Soir d'ete Noir lingerie set.

Swank Events August Features the BYRNE Shrimpton Outfit in Berry - An Iconic 1960s Jet Set Look which women loved & lived during this decade

Before the 1960s, young women were expected to dress in conformity with
their mothers, largely based on Parisian couture.

The 1960s was a politically charged decade of revolution and change.
Youth protests, demonstrations and ideologically differed from the
morality and the mannerisms of their parents. The youth believed that
they no longer needed to follow the rules of the middle class.

The miniskirt had controversial origins which were sewn from these
political seeds. Today, we take for granted our hemlines - as their rise and
fall is based on styling trends rather than politics.

The “Mini” (as it was commonly referred to), not only celebrated youth and
their zest for life – but it also symbolized great opportunity.

The Mini was born out of a grassroots movement from the girls in the streets.
It possessed a 'Look at me' quality and made the statement that 'Life was great.'"

Mod fashion pioneer Mary Quant had a fashion boutique called Bazaar on King's Road
in London, and named the miniskirt after her favorite car - the Mini Cooper.

Her work represented a distinctive departure in fashion.
She sold clothes that reflected the street ideas of the day’s youth which
had nothing to do with the established Paris fashion houses.

Jean Shrimpton was an English model and actress. She was an icon of Swinging London
and is considered to be one of the world's first supermodels.

She caused a still during her 1965 trip to Australia

when she arrived at the very traditional and old-school Melbourne Cup

event wearing a white shift cut above the knee.

Shrimpton was there to promote a new synthetic fiber for Dupont. She said that
the company hadn't given her dressmaker enough fabric to make a longer dress.
The scandal grew even more since she wore no hat, gloves or stockings.

This BYRNE Shrimpton Outfit represents one of those iconic vintage
items that is synonymous with the 1960s and that carefree jet set lifestyle
which women loved and lived during this decade.
This outfit comes with color-matched dropped pendant earrings.

The best part about this fabulous Shrimpton Outfit is that you are really getting two
wearable pieces. The colors are an amazing blue berry & green in swirl geometric print.
It also comes in Black, Lime, White & VIiolet.

The repetitive cutouts define the waist and the trestle-like neckline straps
are smartly used to refine the cut on both pieces. The look is fluid
with each piece complementing the other seamlessly.

Swank Events August 2017 Features the Stunning Selene Creations Gloria Dress - A Perfect Look When You Shop Along the Rue des Barres in Paris

This stunning women’s Selene Gloria sleeveless dress in floral bouquet patterning provides
a close-fitting, feminine style look that will leave everyone breathless in your path.

Its gorgeous petite pink flower patterning is set against a white base. This dress
features a beautiful ruffle frill trim that transcends from its strapped neckline,
in a dramatic continuous loop around to its low, open deep V back.

Its ruffled bust design also forms into the straps that support the bodice.

This is a very short dress with the hemline ending at the upper thigh area of the leg.
The dress hugs the curves of my body without appearing too tight or skimpy.

I adore the unique look of this beautiful frilled mini dress.
Selene Creations also offers this style in white & grey, red, green,
dark green and black - each with their own unique print patterning.

I styled mine with cozy white gloves, footless baby pink tights, strappy pumps
and a breezy summer hat for a nice stroll.

Enjoy the last of your Summer fashionably wearing this Selene Gloria Dress,
shopping along the Rue des Barres in Paris.

Go grab yourself some sheep’s milk cheese at Laurant Dubois, a bottle of red wine
next door at the Caves Saint-Antoine, and of course don't forget the baguettes from
Miss Manon for a memorable Paris Summer picnic with your lover.

Le Jumpsuit ébène de Luxe Paris - un Ensemble de Becky Kénaan

Le Jumpsuit ébène de Luxe Paris - Magnifique dans les moindres détails

Just as the Parisians, LUXE Paris Fashion focuses on the detailed aspects
of an outfit or appearance to create a vogue, sophisticated and polished look.

It is all about high quality clothing with great seams, classic lines and rich colors.

I chose this LUXE Paris Ebony Jumpsuit which I feel best exemplifies their brand
and superbly illustrates a confident vibe and look.

Emulating the Parisian style is all about accenting your natural beauty.

Although there are certain style rules Parisians tend to follow,
the number one rule is to present yourself with confidence knowing that
you’re dressed well and will command respect as a result of your appearance.

Parisians are known for their sex appeal; however, they achieve this
without baring much skin. They dress sexy through understatement
and confidence without ostentatiously expressing their sexuality.

Just like this Luxe Paris Ebony Jumpsuit, the Parisian style is tailored and
not a shapeless look. For Parisian women, a well-fitting design is paramount –
for they enjoy slim-fitting clothing that accentuates their curves.

The Parisian style is sometimes compared to the New York style, for the one thing
they both share in common as their primary wardrobe color choice is Black.

This Luxe Paris Ebony Jumpsuit delivers on two counts -
for black is both a slenderizing color and at once sophisticated.

As far as accessories go, not a lot of bling is used but rather subtlety with an
intricate use of bead work with either the accent of a brooch or a white flower.

Parisian women have a love affair with their scarves. It’s by far a signature accessory.
I selected this ISPACHI Heuston Scarf with a stunning sterling silver elk brooch.

The rich plum color of the scarf also complements the paisley plum colors
in the waistband of the jumpsuit. The subtle and petite tassels of the scarf
also provide just the right amount of intricate detailing as well.

I chose this aptly named Parisienne Hat by NC Paris Design. It possesses both a vogue and sophisticated look which I believe enhances and complements this outfit's overall look.

For my hairstyle, I went with a Carre cascade layered look by Rezology called “Flava.”

I felt that this chic & timeless cut best shaped my face in balance
with the visual weight of the hat and scarf to complete the overall composition.

As far as my cosmetics are concerned, Parisian women believe that great skin
is a fashion statement. Skin care is more important than makeup to Parisians.
Therefore, skin should look natural. That said, I went with a smokey eye
shadow in plum grey with just a dab of blush and a dash of freckles.

French women aren’t into heavy eyeliner. They’re more into using the lips as the
dominant feature when it comes to makeup. I chose a dark plum lipstick
to make that same statement.

Last but not least are the shoes. Shoes help to define the overall look in Paris.
I invested in a nice pair of Renegade Crista shoes in black leather with plum stockings
and added fashionable black leather gloves to complete this elegant look.

Swank Events August 2017 Premiers the Luxe Paris Mondrian Dress - A Beautiful Mid Century Modern Retro Design

As a fashion history diva, I am very pleased to model this Luxe Paris Mondrian Dress.

This dress aptly recalls the A Line Mondrian Dress originally
designed by the French fashion designer Yves Saint Lauren
during the mid century modern era of the 1960’s.

This style ran as a collection of six cocktail dresses from 1960 to 1965.
It was first inspired by the abstract paintings of Piet Mondrian.
Piet Mondrian’s artwork has been a source of inspiration for fashion and
interior designers for decades ever since.

The collection's trademark were in the use of primary color blocking and
straight lines. Mondrian allowed his work to be used as backgrounds to
fashion shoots in popular women’s magazines, furthering the aesthetic
and making it quite recognizable within the fashion circles.

Not only did it make an historical case for the artists that followed this aesthetic,
it clearly also demonstrated a feat of dressmaking - creating the appearance of
the Mondrian order which indiscernibly hid all the shaping in the grid of its seams.

This is a geometric flatness referred to as two-dimensional “planarity” design.

As the sack dress evolved in the 1960s into the shift dress, Yves Saint Laurent
realized that this two-dimensional planarity design was an ideal field for color
blocks, making the historical case for the artistic sensibility of his time.

To pay homage to this dress, I wore my hair in a Bob style with a red beret,
short Jackey O' gloves and high knee boots all of which trended during the 1960s.

Luxe Paris also includes this delightful matching Mondrain patterned handbag
which goes well and completes with this look.
