SWANK Events November Premiers WILD Fashion’s Bonny Bodycon Dress - Featuring the Quintessential Colors of Autumn

November is one of my favorite months of the year. The vibrant colors of 

leaves it reveals are biophilic reminders of Nature’s callings. In Fashion, we rejoice 

the Season by using these beautiful Autumn colors in our wardrobe ensembles.

These beautiful colors, the briskness in the air and 

the rustling wind in the trees call out that winter is certainly on its way.

The fallen leaves blanket the ground with a quilt work of colorful textures 

and fractal patterns, leaving laden in wonderment a testament to God’s creations.

For me, Autumn it is also a very romantic season of the year. It is a time to 

bundle up & cuddle together in a blanket by a warming fireplace. 

The weather in November is also one of my favorite sensory experiences. 

The air is chill and crisp... I love sipping in the air while 

feeling the briskness of Autumn gently biting at my face.

As a colorist in RL, I love to use these wonderful colors in my architectural design. 

 I often refer to the team at the Pantone Color Institute for many of my color 

selections. This team evaluated the colors shown by fashion designers 

in their collections at 2017 New York Fashion Week. 

This information is then used to create The PANTONE Fashion Color Report which 

highlighted the top 10 fashion colors for this upcoming season. 

After looking at many of the Swank Event Designers work for November's

“Colors of Autumn” Fashion Theme, I found WILD Fashion’s Bonny Bodycon Dress 

(with its Color choice Hud selections) to best represent these latest autumn colors.

For my modeling presentation, I chose the quintessential autumn color of Maple. 

It is a tawny and russet color, introducing warmth into my fashion palette ensemble.

Complementing the seasonal feeling, the hues in Wild’s HUD also include the 

Pantone Fashion Color Report colors of Grenadine, a pale pink Ballet Slipper, 

Oak Straw, Golden Lime, Blazing Yellow, and bright Marina blue. 

Nice Wildrose has also included very chic HUD color driven pendant earrings 

which pairs perfectly to her Bodycon Dress. Great Job, Nice! Way to do your homework!

These hues all add up to a striking touch when complemented by the classic autumnal shades of Navy Peony, Shaded Spruce, Neutral Gray, Butterrum & Tawny Port (also included). 

Black Bean is also included as a token gesture for all you Diva purists out there. LOL.

This coming Fall/Winter Season's fashion trend is moving towards mixing, layering, juxtaposing and stitching together unsuspected combinations of clothing pieces. 

 This Loordes of London "The SL Retro Look" #7 does exactly that.

From glamorous formal wear to eclectic street smart fashion statements, 
Loordes of London sets yet another trend-setting bar here in Second Life. 

What may at first seem at odds, this playful outfit cleverly mixes and matches a pullover knit sweater with that of a buttoned-down and collared dress shirt. 

It is a very stylish and laid-back look without appearing "done-up" or "contrived."

The trends this season are truly heading towards a look of more comfort, 
while retaining a casual chic sense of fun with artistic flair & pizzazz.

Casual chic is not so much a style as it is an attitude towards fashion.

Fashion has many different outlets and it is a great way to express yourself. 
There are seemingly endless combinations as to what can be worn together. 

Case in Point: This Prism Staci Blouse & Leggings "Red Fox" Outfit.  

This casual collection is so chic and elegant.

The crop top was born as a part of the 1970 pop culture. The hippie movement 
popularized the “au-natural” look. Back then, one of the most popular looks was 
created by tying off the blouses in the front - hence, the cropped top came into being.

This Prism blouse revisits this era and rocks with playful yet sophisticated 
femininity. Its fun pattern palette of foxes, owls and squirrels is 
juxtaposed against a very elegantly cropped blouse. 

The blouse features a smart looking integral mandarin collar, keyhole 
neckline, and quarter-length sleeves with pointy shoulders.

Today, leggings are a popular type of leg wear that can be worn for 

casual every day use as well as on many other occasions.

This wasn’t always the case. Although leggings have been 
worn for centuries, they were originally worn only by men.

During the 1980s, the popularity of yoga, fitness and dance studios 
turned leggings into fashion craze which epitomized the decade. 

And by the 1990s, leggings were outselling jeans in the USA. 

Today’s leggings have evolved to stay at the forefront of fashion as a staple - 
with so many styles, materials, colors and patterns to choose from. 

Personally, I wear leggings often and in very much the same way as 
I would wear tights. I also wear them with tunics and long sweaters. 

My main take-away from all of this is that the driving influence of fashion 
for this piece was from the hippy culture of my parents. 

High fashion and runways also had less of an impact on this trend than 
the movies, pop culture, fashion icons and artists of the time. 

So, thank you Mom for being such a great fashion Hippie!

Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem are given a pass!  LOL!!!

I enjoy the art of fashion to experiment to best express my personality.
I prefer to tuck in my shirt with a pencil skirt, especially one like
this that comes with a chic belt to contrast to your liking. 

This skirt has great detailing from its waistband to its split hem. If tucking is not
your thing you an easily choose the non-tucked look and switch off the belt in the HUD.
