Loordes of London Premeires the Coney Island Channel One Piece Swimsuit at SWANK Events July - Modesty Bottled in a Sexy Wrap

Loordes of London's Fabulous Coney Island Channel One-Piece Swimsuit (Sarong not included)

By the end of the 19th century, showing off one’s body on
the beach was considered very improper.

Women covered themselves as much as possible. Arrests were actually
made of women not wearing the proper attire on the beach.

During the early 1900's fashion shifted to bloomers — a long skirt worn over loose pants.
The skirt’s hem was about three inches above the ankle, which was still considered indecent back then. Gloves, a belt, a bathing cap and rubber shoes completed the outfit.

Back then, some beaches even had separate swim times for men and women.

Back then, dental floss bikinis and high-waist boob wraps appear non-existent. Ha!

Colored flags were posted to let you know when it was your turn to be in the water.

Women were also expected to be modest in other ways as well.
Some women even wore lead weights sewn into the hems of their
bathing dresses so the clothing would not float up when in the water.

Others went inside covered wooden frame huts called “bathing machines.”

It wasn’t until the late 1920’s when form-fitting swimsuits came into being. Women wanted their suits to be more functional and stylish – hence the one piece swimsuit emerged.

Swimsuits got smaller. Bikinis followed a decade later. Newer fabrics such as
spandex and lycra, made women’s and girls’ suits sleeker and sexier.

Today, one piece swimsuits are making a splash back in fashion. These bathing suits allow
you to go back to being a kid again, building sand castles and crashing into the sea.

Well, thanks to Loordes of London and its new Coney Island Channel One-Piece Swimsuit
release, it's no wonder bikinis seem on the wane here in Second Life.

It is not about how far your bikini bottoms ride up your ass – its more about
embodying the essence of a woman’s form with chic finesse and styling.
And, this one-piece Coney Island Channel Swimsuit does exactly that.

This swimsuit is fabulous and it will definitely make you ditch your bikini. I love the cross-laced open back and the elegant way it conforms to your body!

And, dear great granny will thank you for it!

This package comes with very vogue matching sunglasses and sandals. I added a nice Ipanema sun hat, a short wrapped sarong and paired them with my own Maitreya compatible heels.
