Five Perfect Swimsuits to Wear While Having Fun in the Sun

Okay Ladies, I am here today to put an end to the anxiety
that comes with swimsuit shopping here in SL.

If there is any consolation, just remember that there is no need for waxing or any type bikini body workout video! Ha!

All kidding aside, I am going to devote this blog to help make better sense of the endless swimwear options and narrowing them down to a few picks that I believe best fit and flatter your perfect frame.

Remember that great style begins with a great fit,
thus it is more important to find the silhouette that best
flatters and caresses your figure.

Ayiki Fashion's Ibiza Jaguar Bikini - the ultimate wild child swim look

Just like in RL, go with a smaller size of bikini for a snug look
to eliminate gaps between the outfit and your body.

Here in SL, I often go into my appearance settings and
reverse engineer my body to achieve a more snug appearance.

Let's begin with the Bikini top shall we?

LUXE PARIS Cotte Bikini's Attention to Detail and Gorgeous Textures

If you have a small chest like me, then you should look for styles with more minimal coverage and embellished with more detailing, bows, and patterns to create the illusion of a larger chest.

If you are on the chesty side, then bra-style tops with molded cups
are more appropriate and available in many different styles.

As a model, my breasts here in SL are relatively small, so I look my best in a triangle cup top which create the illusion of curves. As such, tops with bold prints or  ruffles also provide the illusion of more on top.

I also like keeping my breasts at A or B cup size because
the smaller bust size lets me wear my favorite tiny scoop
or top like this Zaara Bikini.

Zaara Naisha Bikini in Crimson - Sizzling Haute Swimwear

Now let’s talk about bottoms. If you are more straight up-and-down with fewer curves, think about using smaller swimsuit bottoms
to lend the illusion of a full and curvy derriere.

Tie-side bikini bottoms also promote curves to give you a
more fuller look.

LUXE PARIS Tankini 2-Piece Swimsuit - Glamorous While Having Fun in the Sun
Monokinis enhance curves, as do one-pieces or tankinis with deep plunges, slashes, or strategically placed cutouts and keyholes.

For curvy frames, highlight your curves with a high cut bottom.
If you're not real keen on exaggerating your curves,
stay away from monokinis or string bikinis with thicker ties,
which can accentuate your widest areas.

Zaara Keyuri Tie-up One Piece Swimsuit

Additionally, you also might want to look at a one piece like this Zaara Kayuri Tie-Up if you are looking for something a little more modest.

I like the high hip cut on this swimsuit
and how it accentuates my slender rear.

The design of this Zaara one piece suit with its tie-up draws the
eye toward the neckline, highlighting the beautiful line
from the neck to the collarbone.

Zaara Ria Shell Coverup over Keyuri Tie-up

This sheer coverup paired with this gorgeous high-waisted one-piece retro lends sexy suggestion to your shape.

Whether it's for a special beach getaway, a private retreat, or for a nice sailing adventure, these fashion forward swimwear vendors will have you looking your best!
