VoguE Fashion's Cheongsam Dress Reflects Modesty, Softness & Beauty

This VoguE Fashion Cheongsam Dress embraces the essence of asian female beauty and the unspeakable grace it possesses.

This dress by VoguE is for the fashionable lady with refined tastes.  It is not an extravagant look but rather an enchanting one for it combines the elegance of Chinese tradition with today's style.

The high-necked, closed-collar Cheongsam Dress, with its fitting waist, bowstring closure ties, exquisite asian artwork, piping and  attractive slits at the hem, is one of Second Life's most versatile dresses that will suit a variety of different occasions and individual tastes.

As you can see, this VoguE Fashion Cheongsam Dress does not require accessories like scarves and belts for it is designed to show off the natural softness of the female form.

The Cheongsam dress has a long history of development. Originally born out of the oriental Cheongsam socialite feminine culture during the 1930s and 1940s, it has since transformed in style with extraordinary refinement.

Cheongsam is an important icon within the Chinese fashion culture. Metaphorically speaking, like a soft wicker branch trembling in the wind, this fashion comes alive to tell the tale of a young woman born within this Cheongsam socialite society..

The Cheongsam Dress displays all of a woman's modesty, softness and beauty. And, similar to a Chinese women's disposition, this Cheongsam look is elegant, serene, and gentle which in turn makes the woman wearing it fascinating and exotic.

The long neck, graceful back and slender waist epitomizes the sensual essence of Chinese fashion.  It is not about the bareness of a woman that is sexually attractive but rather the beautiful balance  between concealment and bareness.

Evolve Fashion's Rami Gown - A Tale of Graceful Yet Fiery Beauty

This Rami Dress by Reign of Evolve Fashion tells the tale of graceful yet fiery beauty - from its exquisite flowing flames of reds, oranges, and yellows to its dramatic voluminous train.

The train embraces, harmonizes, and flows as a gorgeous ballet of creativity in concert with its sheath-styled, floor length dress.

It features a strapless bandeau bodice that matches perfectly with the dress to create a comfortable look for both day and night.

This fiery red and orange dress is a mood elevator.  While it's not for the shy, the flaming colors of this design will please those drawn to making a strong statement.

The spicier orange-reds of this dress definitely flatter a darker skin.  I decided to keep my hair back to expose my shoulders and pronounce the top. For cosmetics, I kept my lips neutral, and added just a touch of red blush with smoked eyeshadow.

Insofar as accessories, I paired this dress with matching yellow floral earrings, bracelet, and necklace to draw out the yellow in this dress. I also stepped out in red shoes that don't distract.

UniQue Boutique's "Karen in Sparkling Blue” Dress: To Bling or Not to Bling?

I received this fabulous “Karen in Sparkling Blue” multicolored sequin dress from Pussycat of UniQue Boutique the other day. I decided to see how I could to best accessorize it without going overboard.

This lesson offers an interesting styling conundrum for anyone considering this type of dress to wear out on the town.  Selection as to the type of jewelry to wear is critical, for this dress by itself is already heavily bejeweled in sequins.

Sparkle Attracts

This dress simmers all by itself and is likely to turn heads all night on any dance floor here in SL. So, (with that in my mind) it doesn’t require much since it is already bursting with lots of bling.

If you're wearing a multicolored sequined dress like this
Karen in Sparkling Blue from UniQue Boutique
you're obviously not going for that subtle look anyway. Ha!

But be mindful that a multicolored sequined dress look such as this is already eye-catching to begin.

That said, you don't need to carry that extravagance completely over into your jewelry. Try and balance out your look while at once letting that sequined frock you've  adorned steal the show.

To Bling or Not to Bling? – That is the Question

I recommend that you try using refined jewelry with clean lines like simple metallics or dainty jewelry that best complements the backdrop of this type of dress without  competing with it.

First, you might try adding just a touch of elegant yet subtle sparkle. Remember that “Less is More” when it comes to accessorizing this type of dress. So, keep your bracelet, earrings and necklace low key.

You can add jewels but don’t over-embellish or exaggerate. You're already going to look like a jewel in that sequined dress.

As I mentioned, the key is not to go overboard with heavy sparkly jewelry. Too much and you will end up looking like a Vegas Strip showgirl. Slide on some nice gloves perhaps, add a sparkly ring, and perhaps earrings paired to a matching gem necklace to add some additional shine if you want.

Colored Pieces

Choose the color of your jewelry to play upon the colors in this super-glam dress. For example, this sequined dress has highlights of magenta - so I played off this particular color by picking sparkly amethyst gems in concert with black onyx in small clustered gems - but again, I didn’t go too big.

Going With the Right Shoes

Let's face it, when you're wearing a multicolored sequined dress like this, your dress is the jewelry. That said, you should also play down the shoes you decide upon.

Since you're exploding in sequins anyway, you definitely won't have to worry about looking plain with these shoes. I paired my footwear to match the shoulder strap design  with non-metallic, leather strapped heels.

The same concept applies to my hair and my makeup as well. I kept my do simple and wore a clean pillbox hat for an added touch. I went with blue-grey smoked eyeshadow to complement both the pillbox hat and blue-grey gloves.

When you're wearing a showstopper of a dress like this sensational "Karen in Sparkling Blue," you really can't go wrong by keeping the rest of your look clean and simple.

VoguE Fashion “Lizbeth” Tunic Shirt & Pants: A Call to the Wild!

The tunic style of shirt is designed to be worn in a very specific way.

A tunic shirt like this rich dark chocolate mocha and white giraffe print “Lizbeth” by VoguE Fashion is a must have piece for every woman’s wardrobe.

You can pair this tunic with either jewelry, a scarf or a belt to make your outfit look fabulous and complete. I recommend that you do a great hanging type of necklace.

You can also pair it with multiple necklaces
if you like layering. This tunic also looks great with hooped or dangled earrings as well.

As far as shoes are concerned, you might try wearing this VoguE Fashion Lizbeth with stilettos or even perhaps some hot ankle boots or wedges for a little attitude.

For me, I chose to go with these exquisite, black Alexa wedges for more of an edgy yet casual look with the denims. Together, they both combine to add more visual length to my legs.

The dark chocolate mocha tight pants that come with this outfit goes perfect together with the giraffe patterned Tunic. They are flattering with every shape.

I added a simple leather belt, and some great knitted arm warmers to make my whole silhouette look come together.

And, of course I brought along my floppy scarfed hat for the safari! Ha!
