(But First ...A Little Look Behind the Scenes at Frank's Elite Jazz)
BK: Well hello Nanceee. What in the world are you doing up on that stage?
NS: "Oh hello Becky. Well... since you insist on asking, I am preparing my leap into the crowd here at Frank's during the Guns N' Roses concert."
BK: "I see... Hmmm, that explains the safety net, the knee protectors and the helmet I bet."
NS: "Pfft! Of course! There is no need to take any unnecessary chances during practice. I also want to have my jump timed perfectly and I am confident that Zeus will do a fine job catching me."
BK: "Not to be an alarmist, but do you realize that Axel Rose was arrested during a similar stunt for one of his legendary jumps?"
NS: "Oh that. FYI, I intend on being perfectly composed and I don't think that there will be any problem whatsoever."
BK: "I know this is going to be a lot of fun, however if I were you I would definitely refrain from your little nips."
NS: "Nips? Are you insinuating that I drink, Becky?"
BK: "Oh, then I take it that the flask you are hiding (behind your back) is filled with a non-alcoholic beverage?"
NS: "This flask here? Why, it is just a little brew I concocted to settle my nerves, that's all.
BK: "BTW...I am curious. Did you resolve your labor dispute with Zeus? I would hate to see any misunderstanding between you both get in the way of your performance."
NS: "Oh Zeus is just fine. We are all settled and he loves me once again. I am so adorably persuasive you know."
BK: "If its just the same, I highly recommend that you make darn sure that everything is copacetic between you both. I don't want to alarm you, but I heard something about Frank's taking out an additional life insurance policy on you."
NS: "Why, that is the silliest thing I have ever heard. Where did you here such a vicious and malicious rumor?"
BK: "This stays between us, okay?
NS: "Brownie's Honor."
BK: Okay... Well FYI, I accidentally overheard Orchide talking with some of the other girls a couple of nights ago. She apparently bought a $10 million policy on you. She also said something about buying a neck brace and a stretcher for you."
NS: ":/ (murmurs to herself "that lil' Tramp!")"
BK: "I also heard that Zeus kicked in on the cost of the Insurance policy."
NS: "I am sure that its only for our business' best interest. That's all." (murmurs to herself "just wait until I see that a**hole! I am going to stick my foot right up his butt!")"
BK: "Did you happen to see the shiny new red Ferrari that Zeus has been driving lately. Rumor has it that Orchide bought it for him. I heard that it was a perk. This doesn't pass the sniff test."
NS:"Uh...So Becky, Can I practice my jumps with you?
BK: "Well, I do have excellent reflexes and once caught a kitty falling out of a tree. You aren't no kitty however, mew-mew."
NS: "This whole jumping thing off the stage is really kind of a silly idea. I think that I will just throw out a guitar instead."
BK: "Excellent Idea."

About Guns N' Roses
The legendary Guns N' Roses band was founded in Los Angeles in June of 1985.
This band was formed by singer Axl Rose, guitarists Tracii Guns and Izzy Stradlin', bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Rob Gardner.
John Lee Adams played the Drummer, Steven Adler
The name "Guns and Roses" was created from a combination of the last names of its members, in addition to referencing the band member's' former association with "Hollywood Rose and LA Guns."
Guns N' Roses unique heavy metal style was derived from a mixture of punk, blues, thrash, and other genres of music.
When Tracii Guns and Robbie Gardner could not attend the first Guns N' Roses show in Seattle, Rose called guitarist Slash and drummer Steven Adler to join the band on stage for the show. The rest was history for the five members on the way back to Los Angeles wrote the lyrics to the song "Welcome to the Jungle", which ultimately became their iconic signature song.
The song "Welcome to the Jungle" was also included on the soundtrack to the Dirty Harry movie "The Dead Pool," which also led to a screen cameo for the band.

Guns N' Roses first album sold over 20 million copies, hitting #1 on the charts. The album included the songs "Welcome to the Jungle", "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Paradise City", all of which were top 10 singles on the Billboard charts. Appetite For Destruction still remains as one of the best-selling debut albums of all time.
The band began opening shows for major bands in the rock industry, but as Appetite for Destruction's sales began to rise, a world tour in support of the album was scheduled.
Guns N' Roses traveled all across the United States. In the spring of 1988, they were invited to co-headline the notorious Monsters of Rock Festival in Europe. The band shared the stage with legendary groups like Iron Maiden, KISS and Judas Priest.
The band gained much notoriety for their drunken and drug induced behavior while on stage. Members of the crew at times had to carry Slash on to the stage and that he also often passed out after the concerts ended.
A tragic event occurred during the Monsters of Rock concert in the UK, when two fans were accidentally killed when the large crowd at the concert began jumping and moving forward in celebration the Guns N' Roses' show inspired. This earned the group its' title of "the most dangerous band in the world".
As added controversy, Guns N' Roses' song "One In A Million", which used the words "niggers" and "faggots", led to controversy that accused the band of racism and homophobia. Axl denied all of this, stating that his guitarist was half black and that he was also a big fan of homosexual and bisexual singers such as Queen's Freddie Mercury, Elton John, and Judas Priest's Rob Halford.
In 1989, Guns N' Roses was presented with an American Music Award for favorite Pop/Rock single for "Sweet Child O' Mine". At the award show in 1989, Duff McKagan and Slash appeared drunk while using obscene language accepting the award for Best Heavy Metal Album (Appetite For Destruction, and Best Heavy Metal Song (Paradise City).
Because of the problems it created, subsequent American Music Award shows initiated five second delayed broadcasts.
The whole band's heavy use and abuse of heroin is referenced throughout the album, "Appetite for Destruction." The name "Mr. Brownstone" is about heroin and its effects. (Brownstone is a common slang term for heroin, due to its' brown color.
Possibly the most famous incident took place in the Summer of 1991, when Axl Rose leaped into the audience during a concert in St. Louis, Missouri. Rose punched one of the fans after taking away the video camera the fan was using to record the show. Rose then promptly left the stage and the angered crowd began to riot. Dozens of people were injured as a result of this incident.
Rose was charged with having incited a riot, but the police were unable to arrest him until almost a year later, because the band went overseas to continue the tour. Charges were filed against Rose, but a judge ultimately ruled Rose had not directly incited the riot.
During this time, guitarist Izzy Stradlin' quit the band due to differences with Rose. He was replaced by Los Angeles-based guitarist Gilby Clarke.
Guns N' Roses is recognized as the band that changed the way the heavy metal industry was moving in the late 1980s.
Q magazine named Guns N' Roses in their list of the "50 Bands To See Before You Die."
Also, the television network VH1 ranked Guns N' Roses # 9 in the "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock". All of their studio albums of original material appeared in Rolling Stone Magazine's "500 Greatest Albums of All-Time" list.
Some music critics have blamed Rose for the break-up of the original group. Others have criticized him for continuing the band after the departure of the original members and for his perfectionism disorder which contributed to personal conflict and the long delays between albums.
Regardless of this controversy, Guns N' Roses have been credited with reviving the mainstream popularity of rock music and their legendary work continues to this day to inspire and influence others in the music industry.
