From the runways to High Street, stripes are everywhere today and becoming the very "in" thing in fashion once again.
From dresses and tops to shoes and skirts - stripes are fun and flattering on practically any item in your wardrobe.
I have somewhat of a slender frame silhouette so I chose to go with horizontal stripes.
Utilizing a combination of layered and varying textured apparel, I went with different width stripes and solids to make this casual chic monochromatic statement..
That said, I am wearing this very cute, warm, and comfy woven dark grey, light grey and black bold striped cardigan sweater with my gray and white tightly interwoven taffy woolen skirt. For additional fun, I decided to wear this marvelous ceri black with white trim floppy hat.
To finish my length, I wore these cuffed light and dark gray striped stockings with a pair of espadrilles slip-on gray & white striped loafers for a more comfortable and relaxed appearance.
I also added the pure wool scarf for layered texture, warmth and subtle flare.
