Both growing up and living in California, one of my favorite things to wear
for extended summer outings, whether it is to the beach or to a lakeside
gathering, is a coordinated outfit which provides me with the
most flexibility for both the weather and outdoor events.
Itty-bitty bikinis and strapless one-pieces look great, however they
probably aren't the most practical swimsuits to wear, especially if you
are like me and like to stay active at the beach or pool.
Finding an option that's not only stylish but also does more for you
than just lounging in the sun has always been problematic.
The TLG Bali Bound Bikini provides the perfect solution -
offering both chic styling and flexibility with Balinese fashion flair.
I absolutely identified with this TLG Bali Bound Swimwear ensemble.
We designed our island paradise with Balinese influences.
Balinese architecture is one of the most popular Asian tropical
architectural styles. It has its indigenous roots within the biophilic
principles of harmony & nature infused into its design.
Our island theme in SL reflects the design philosophy of “Arga Segara,”
which is the sacred axis between mountains and the oceans.
Bali has been coined the “island of the gods” for its strong religious
practices and its plethora of temples that reside on the island.
Its architecture creates harmony & balance between the 3 elements of life –
the atma (for human), angga (for nature), and khaya (for gods).
With its gorgeous beaches, picturesque mountains and quiet countryside,
the Island of Bali has become a top destination spot as well as
a significant design influence in the world of architecture and fashion.
When this TLG Bali Bound ensemble first caught my eye at this month’s Swank
Events, I immediately took it into the fitting room to study its aesthetics.
To achieve the perfect balance between glam and comfort, the women
of Bali have traditionally worn a colorful kebaya paired with a batik kamben
which is very similar to a sarong which is tied around their waist.
There's no doubt that this swimsuit, jacket and sarong combo, with its
culturally rich Bali batik and kamben influences, will certainly
add personality and sass to your strut this Summer.
Bali batik floral brocade texturing is reflected on the jacket, bikini
top and bottoms of this Baii Bound Bikini outfit.
On Bali, the batiks are normally designed and made specifically for quilters.
I think that TLG did an excellent job in weaving this Bali Bound outfit
seamlessly together with the Balinese culture. It is absolutely beautiful!
As a part of Balinese culture, these wonderful indigenous patterns are
handmade by master craftspeople. Each design is hand stamped onto the
cloth with slight color variations from roll to roll and color to color.
This five-piece Bali Bound bikini collection by The Looking Glass (TLG) will
ensure that all eyes are on you and for all the right reasons.
This evocative, signature bikini collection is beautiful, practical, playful
and sexy all at once. Although this stunning bikini ensemble might be
considered a vehicle of revelation for showing off your figure,
it also delivers oh so much more.
Its' coordinated jacket, gold-meshed top with braided tassels, polynesian
patterning with accent piping adds to your mysticism, sexiness and grace.
This TLG Bali Bound outfit comes with a HUD-Driven menu which gives you six (6)
different color/pattern choices for fashion-forward swimwear fun all year round.
