LUXE Paris Premiers the Architect Dress - The interplay of architecture and fashion at Swank Events November

Coco Chanel famously stated that “fashion is architecture:
it is a matter of proportions.”

Fashion, like architecture also depends on the creativity and the reputation of its principals as a catalyst for developing new ideas.

Mika Palmyra and Paris Skytower, principals of LUXE Paris Fashion, reflect this in the design of this Architect Dress.

Like classic architects, their design demonstrates classic "form follows function" which is flawlessly composed for the female form.

This dress reflects a strong interplay between the design
elements involved in both architecture and fashion.
It is a sophisticated, high-end fashion forward example of
a structured architectural dress design.

By design, it incorporates  architecturally inspired geometric 3D structure with strong lines and subtle fabric manipulation.

The V neckline of the fitted bodice features an inlay panel composed
of coral & white colored patterning. These same colors are then
muted into the bodycon skirt of this luxuriously textured and geometrically patterned dress.

I paired this dress with simple pendent pearl earrings, matching single strand pearl necklace, complementing low-shear white seamed pantyhose and coral pumps. I highlighted my hair with these same colors as an added touch.

As the architect Mies Van Der Rohe once stated  "less is more." This dress follows that basic design premise with elegant and well-proportioned balance & sophistication.
