Mary Pickford stated, “The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.”
That being said, the future certainly does portend change -
Heralding in a new era and underscored by the rebirth of a historic Icon.
It is my pleasure to announce that, from the ashes of Frank’s Entertainment Group
(FEG), a new phoenix of entertainment has arisen called Frank's Jazz Club.
It is very impressive both in design and management structure.
As an architect, I find this new club surpasses its predecessor in each
and every design category with genuine zeal.
I also find it to truly be one of the most exciting, richly elegant,
inviting and charmingly romantic places in all of Second Life.
By comparison to the former FEG Frank’s Jazz, the new Frank’s shares a
similar main entry with an ascending “sense of arrival” stairway promenade.
Its' overall functional layout is also similar in scale with that of the old Franks.
However by stark contrast, I find that the new Frank's Jazz Club's architecture,
ambience and elegance surpasses that of its predecessor in quality execution -
with superb attention to detail and textural sophistication.
To all those individuals who were once dedicated to the romantic purpose
and intent of the now defunct FEG, and for all of those who also contributed to
the original Frank’s Jazz’s entertainment over the years with their passion
and talents - come see for yourself this new magnificent creation.
When you experience first hand the aesthetic and ambient improvements of the new
Frank’s Jazz Club you will be duly impressed. The discerning use of materials blends seamlessly in proportion with its functionality, scale and sophistication.
The superb execution of detail not only harmoniously reflect and complements
the historical past, but now also helps to ensure its future.
Along with its more intimately scaled and Palladian influenced shopping plaza
at the threshold to Frank’s main entry portal, I also noted a very intelligent and
astutely savvy move on the part of management.
Integrated within its master planning is the inclusion of
estate housing as a component of mixed-use development.
This experienced team of management professionals keenly recognizes
the true values and needs of the SL community over that of
its predecessor's ill-fated management decisions.
